How to Care for Pashmina, Cashmere and Silk

Entretien d'un pashmina, d'un cachemire et d'une soie

Care tips for pashmina, cashmere, or silk

Care for your delicate fibers with these simple but essential tips. By following these steps, you will extend the life of your pashminas, cashmere scarves, and silk stoles, while gently removing everyday small stains.

Hand washing (recommended)

Use cold or lukewarm water (between 10°C and 30°C maximum).

Prefer a natural soap or baby shampoo.

Do not rub or twist the fabric. Rinse thoroughly and then gently press by hand.

Do not use fabric softener.

Machine washing (with caution)

Choose a "wool" program at 30°C maximum.

Place the stole in a protective bag.

Use a mild soap or baby shampoo, without fabric softener.

Do not exceed 600 rpm for spinning.

Drying and ironing

Dry flat, away from direct sunlight.

Iron at medium temperature, using a "wool" setting.

For embroidered pieces, always iron on the reverse side.

❌ Never use a dryer.

Tip

Add 3 drops of white vinegar during the first wash only for stoles with natural dyes (vegetable), to set the colors.
